Connecting the dots: How using multiple AI tools boosts your lead generation

AI is now omnipresent. Everywhere you see an icon asking where the local AI can be found. AI is not just a trend — it has become an indispensable tool for marketers who want to work smarter and more efficiently. But the real power of AI lies in combining multiple tools into one seamless flow.

In this blog, we show you how we built a streamlined, modular AI flow at boostU: from lead identification to personalised landing page.

The challenge: manual work at every touchpoint

Marketing teams spend a huge amount of time on repetitive tasks: researching prospects, personalising outreach, creating landing pages, following up. Each step requires time, attention and human input. And the more you scale, the more this becomes a bottleneck.

The solution: a modular AI flow

We built a flow consisting of several AI tools that work together seamlessly:

Step 1: Lead identification with Clay

Clay is an AI-powered tool for lead enrichment. You start with a list of companies or job titles, and Clay automatically enriches them with contact information, company data, LinkedIn profiles and more.

What makes Clay powerful is its modularity: you can connect different data sources and AI models to create exactly the enrichment you need.

Step 2: Personalised outreach with AI copywriting

Once you have enriched leads, the next step is personalised outreach. We use AI copywriting tools (such as GPT-4) to generate personalised email variants based on the enriched data.

For example: if we know a prospect recently received funding, the AI writes an opening that addresses this specific context. This results in much higher response rates than generic templates.

Step 3: Dynamic landing pages with Unbounce or Webflow

The third step is creating personalised landing pages. Instead of sending all prospects to the same generic page, we create dynamic variants that adapt to the visitor.

This can be based on:

  • Industry
  • Company size
  • Job title
  • Source (which campaign did they come through?)

Tools like Unbounce and Webflow make this possible with relatively little technical work.

Step 4: Automated follow-up with HubSpot

Once a lead fills in a form on the landing page, the flow continues automatically:

  • The lead is added to HubSpot CRM
  • A personalised follow-up email sequence starts
  • The sales team receives a notification with all relevant context
  • The lead is scored based on behaviour

All of this happens automatically, without manual intervention.

The result: scale without losing personalisation

By connecting these tools intelligently, we achieve something that was previously impossible: personalised communication at scale. Every lead feels addressed individually, while the entire process runs (almost) automatically.

This doesn't just save time — it also improves quality. AI doesn't forget to follow up, doesn't make spelling mistakes and is always consistent.

What does this mean for your marketing?

You don't have to implement this entire flow at once. Start with one step:

  1. Enrich your existing lead list with Clay
  2. Write personalised emails with AI assistance
  3. Create a dynamic landing page for your most important campaign

Every improvement in personalisation leads to better results. And with AI tools you can implement this without a massive investment in time or money.
